Smoking should be totally banned??

No, smoking should not be totally banned as people should have their own rights. Imagine not being able to smoke even when one's in his own home. FREEDOM!

Smoking boost the economy as when people purchase cigarettes, they are actually contributing to the economy. Many companies over the world manufacture cigarettes. E.g. Marlboro, Lucky Strike and Dunhill. If tobacco smoking were to be banned, companies manufacturing cigarettes will suffer a great big loss, which will eventually lead to bankruptcy. Apart from that, unemployment will rise, as many will be unemployed due to the closing down of the cigarette companies.

If smoking is banned completely, addicts will try all means to get the cigarettes to satisfy their cravings and this might lead to an increase in crime rates which will affect the society.

We should not ban smoking totally but should have certain restrictions like non-smoking areas in cafes, food centres, air conditioned places or even toilets. Fines and penalties should be placed for those smokers who go against the law. Increase the pricings of the cigarettes packs and raise the age limit for the purchasers.
